
Radoslava Vorgic Zurzovan finished her studies and received a degree in music pedagogy and voice at the Music Academy of Novi Sad with Professor Milica Stojadinović in Serbia. She completed her Master’s studies in concert and operatic singing as well as postgraduate studies with Professor Claudia Eder at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany.
Ms.Vorgić made her operatic debut with the Junges Ensemble in Staatstheater Mainz, as Lucia in the opera “Rape of Lucretia” (B. Britten) in 2011. This was followed by roles of Armida in “Rinaldo” (G.F.Handel), Abel in “Il primo omicidio overo Cain” (A. Scarlatti), Tancredi in “La Gerusalemme liberata” (C. Pallavicino), Susanna in”Le Nozze di Figaro” (Mozart), Flaminia in “Il mondo della luna” (J. Haydn), and Coscoletto in “Coscoletto”(J. Offenbach).
As a soloist, she has performed with the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz, Jugend Orchester ODEON (Munich), Neumeyer Consort (Frankfurt), New Trinity Baroque, MAKRIS Symphony Orchestra, as well as with the Sarband ensemble from Munich. She is a member of a specialist program “BAROCK VOKAL” in Mainz and has taken master classes with Elisabeth Scholl, Wolfgang Katschner, Martin Gester, Ton Koopman, Marijana Mijanovic, Felicity Lott, Helen Donath, Janice & Jonathan Alder, Cheryl Studer and others.
In the year 2015 engagement included a performance at Rheingau Festival with Andreas Scholl as a conductor and roles in opera for children “Hexe Hillary geht in die Oper” at State Theater Wiesbaden and Angelica in Handel’s “Orlando” in Belgrade Opera & Theater Madlenianum (Serbia).
In the year 2016 she won the competition “Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg” in Germany, which led to several concerts and a Masterclass with Stephan Rügamer, leading tenor at State Opera in Berlin. She was also a proud recipient at full bursary for Masterclass with Dame Emma Kirkby at Dartington International Summer School, where she also had the opportunity to work with Jessica Cash and Nicholas Clapton as well. She is a Young Ambassador of the “Laza Kostic Fund” and a recipient of many awards at the state and international competitions for young operatic singers, of which the most notable is 1st prize for a young singer and audience prize at the“Internationales Meistersingerwettbewerb“in Neustadt, Germany.
In the year 2017, she sang a title role in “La Giuditta” (A. Scarlatti) at State theatre Wiesbaden in Germany, which led to another role in the same theatre, in the World’s premiere of opera “Pretty Land” by Nils Sören Eichberg. In November 2017 she collaborated with the maestro and cymbalist Martin Gester and sang Vespetta in “Pimpinone” (G. P. Telemann), with several performances in Germany and France.
In Opera & Theatre Madlenianum she once again had the opportunity to work with maestro Predrag Gosta, this time as Ninfa & Proserpina in “Orfeo” (C. Monteverdi), which led to a guest performance in State Opera Stara Zagora in Bulgaria.
Ms Vorgic is proud to be a member of a women’s ensemble “Kaliomene” with whom she has participated in a Rhineland-Palatinate Tour with several concerts through the cities of Germany with the gregorian chant.
