At the literary competition, the Laza Kostic Fund awarded a special prize: “Day with Divac” to the students of the elementary school “Kokai Imre” from Temerin, whose second language is Serbian and the student Nenad Milosavljević from Pranjani. The theme of the awarded works was “My First Controversial Success”, with the aim of reminding the controversial spirit of Laza Kostic and his recognition of the importance of sport for a healthy life and the desire to bring the sport closer to young people.
Serbian Olympic Committee President Vlade Divac received the award-winning students at the Olympic House on June 7th.
In an interview with our celebrated basketball player Vlad Divac, the students learned what the five Olympic circuits represent when the first modern-day Olympic Games were held, as well as a bit more about our country’s Olympic team participation in the 1912 Olympics until today. , sharing the autographs and gifts of Vlade Divac finally told the students:
“Play sports, play and socialize, but also be good students”
Then, the students visited the Royal Palace and the White Palace in Dedinje, the FC “Red Star”, the museum of the FC “Red Star”, visited the St. Sava Temple in Vracar and walked the plateau in front of the temple.
