Explore the Kovilje – birthplace of Laza Kostic and the monastery from the thirteenth century. The professional Guide, historian, Aleksandra Brescanski, in a civil suit from the nineteenth century, is in charge of the group and will answer the questions: What is written on a memorial panel at the birth house of Laza Kostic? The excursionists will visit the Presidential room of Matica Srpska in which the honorary place has a portrait of Laza Kostic, the work of Uros Predic. Rowing Club “Danubius” in its central hall, also, have a portrait of a young Laza Kostic, founder and the first president of the club. And this club is planned for the tour.

Interesting lecture from Pero Zubac- the presentation of the newly published book „Lenka“ which reveals many historical facts, unknown to the public, until now, about the Dundjerski family and the mysterious love between Laza and Lenka.

If weather permits, and if it is going to be nice and dry, riding will take place at the club PETRAS on Petrovardin before lunch, served in the cavalry club. In case of rain, visitors will have the opportunity to visit the horses, learn about their maintenance and hear where the horses were used in art and throughout history.
Offered food, during the entire trip, was made in bakery OUR VIOLETA with the longest and best reputation in town, dedicated to healthy eating. Lunch and snacks (included in price) are made from whole foods and ecologically grown vegetables (purchased at the monastery Kovilj, so the trip will help the work and life of a monk). Specialities are made by the recipes of Petar Celik, with whom the one-hour interview will be held – with the advice on healthy and high-quality nutrition and physical activity “measured” for all ages.
The old crafts the guests from Belgrade will meet in Carigrad, the oldest pastry shop in town, where, perhaps for the first time, will taste the traditional boza, and the best wheat, rice pudding or tulumbe in the town (one candy and lemonade are included).

The part of each paid arrangement is used for programs the centenary Laza Kostic in jubilee 2010. Year, in which the 100 year anniversary of the death of the great poet is marked.
Fund “Laza Kostic” was founded in 1991. in London, marking the occasion of 150 anniversary of the birth of one of the greatest Serbian intellectuals of the nineteenth century: a poet, translator, first Shakespearelogist, doctor of law, the first president of the Association of Journalists of Serbia, a philosopher, polyglot, dedicated athlete and founder of the rowing and riding club Danubius – Laza Kostic.
